This document sets out the terms and conditions (“Terms”) under which CarVerify Inspection & Evaluation LLC(“CarVerify”) provides its vehicle inspection and evaluation services (“Services”).
By engaging CarVerify for any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
We recommend that you read them thoroughly before booking an inspection.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms or you are below the age of 18, you should not proceed with placing an Order.
1. Definitions and Interpretation
1.1. "Buyer" refers to the person or legal entity ordering the vehicle inspection services.
1.2. "Seller" refers to the individual or entity selling the vehicle, who must provide access to the vehicle for inspection.
1.3. "Inspector" refers to the individual contracted by CarVerify to conduct the inspection on behalf of the Buyer.
1.4. "Services" refers to the vehicle inspection services provided by CarVerify.
1.5. "Order" refers to the request made by the Buyer for the Services, which is subject to acceptance by CarVerify.
1.6. "Contract" refers to the legally binding agreement formed between CarVerify and the Buyer upon acceptance of an Order.
2. Scope of Agreement
2.1. Acceptance of Order
An Order is considered accepted when CarVerify issues a written confirmation via email or other electronic means.
Until such confirmation is provided, no binding Contract exists between the Buyer and CarVerify.
2.2. Rejection of Order
CarVerify reserves the right to reject any Order at its sole discretion. Reasons may include, but are not limited to:
(a) Resource limitations beyond CarVerify’s control
(b) Errors in service description or pricing
(c) Inability to meet the requested inspection timeline
2.3. Order Number Assignment
Upon acceptance of the Order, CarVerify will issue an Order Number.
The Buyer must reference this number in all future correspondence.
3. Service Locations
3.1. Geographical Limitations
CarVerify provides vehicle inspection services exclusively within the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
We may accept Orders from buyers located abroad (except in sanctioned countries), but physical inspections will only be carried out in the UAE.
4. Services Provided
4.1. Nature of Services
CarVerify offers vehicle inspection and evaluation services described on our website (www.carverify.ae).
Services may include but are not limited to:
Multi-point vehicle inspection
Mechanical and electrical evaluation
Accident history review
AI-generated repair cost estimates
All inspections are visual and non-invasive unless otherwise specified.
4.2. Private and Public Sales
Inspections may be requested for vehicles sold through public listings or private sales.
In private sales, the Buyer is responsible for obtaining the Seller’s permission to share contact and vehicle information with CarVerify.
4.3. Seller Responsibilities
CarVerify does not verify vehicle ownership or Seller authority.
The Buyer is solely responsible for ensuring the Seller has the right to sell the vehicle.
4.4. Reselling of Extended Warranty & Insurance
If CarVerify acts as a reseller for warranties or insurance, the contract exists between the Buyer and the third-party provider.
CarVerify is not liable for disputes, fulfilment, or service quality from third parties.
5. Buyer’s Obligations
5.1. Providing Required Information
The Buyer must provide accurate and complete information, including:
Vehicle details
Seller’s contact
Inspection location
Incomplete or incorrect information may result in cancellation without refund.
5.2. Change Requests
Any change requested after Order acceptance must be communicated immediately.
CarVerify will confirm feasibility and any impact on price or scheduling.
If changes are not acceptable, the Buyer may cancel as per Section 8.
5.3. Ensuring Safe and Accessible Inspection
The Buyer must ensure the vehicle is:
(a) Clean and dry
(b) With valid number plates
(c) Roadworthy
(d) Accessible in a safe area
CarVerify may refuse to complete the inspection or test drive if these conditions are not met.
No refund is guaranteed in such cases.
6. CarVerify’s Right to Make Changes
6.1. Service Adjustments
CarVerify may update Services to comply with regulations or improve efficiency.
6.2. Notice of Changes
Material changes will be communicated to the Buyer.
The Buyer may accept or reject changes; rejection may allow cancellation under Section 8.
7. Commencement and Delivery of Services
7.1. Commencement
CarVerify will begin Services on the confirmed date, subject to Seller availability and external factors.
7.2. Delays Beyond CarVerify’s Control
CarVerify is not liable for delays caused by external events (weather, road closures, etc.).
Buyers may reschedule or request a refund case-by-case at CarVerify’s discretion.
7.3. Seller Unavailability and Buyer Notification
If the Seller is unavailable at the agreed time, CarVerify offers two options:
Reschedule once at no extra cost
50% refund if the Buyer prefers cancellation
If the Seller is unavailable again during the rescheduled appointment, the inspection is forfeited with no refund.
8. Rights to Terminate the Contract
8.1. Buyer’s Right to Cancel
The Buyer may cancel up to 8 business hours before the inspection for a full refund.
Cancellations within 8 hours may result in fee forfeiture.
If informed at least 3 business hours in advance, a service credit may be issued.
8.2. CarVerify’s Right to Terminate
CarVerify may terminate immediately if:
(a) Required information is not provided
(b) The inspection is interfered with
(c) Payment is not made
Fees paid may be retained.
9. Code of Conduct During Inspection
9.1. Zero Tolerance for Interference
The Buyer, Seller, or any party must not talk to, influence, intimidate, coerce, or interfere with the Inspector.
CarVerify may terminate the inspection immediately without refund.
9.2. Professional Conduct
Harassment, bullying, or discrimination towards Inspectors will not be tolerated.
CarVerify may terminate the inspection with no refund.
10. Limitations of Liability
10.1. No Warranty or Guarantee
CarVerify provides inspection reports “as-is.”
Reports reflect the condition at the time of inspection only.
10.2. No Liability for Third-Party Services
CarVerify is not responsible for:
VIN checks
Warranty providers
Insurance services
Third-party vendors
10.3. Limit on Damages
CarVerify’s liability is capped at the amount paid by the Buyer.
CarVerify is not liable for indirect losses, including loss of business or profit.
11. Payment Terms
11.1. Advance Payment
Full payment (100%) is required prior to the Service.
11.2. Price Information
Prices listed on www.carverify.ae are accurate to the best of our knowledge.
Errors may result in revised pricing before Order acceptance.
11.3. Changes in VAT
If VAT or taxes change before Service delivery, adjustments will be applied.
11.4. Pricing Errors
If a pricing error is discovered before acceptance, the Buyer may:
Confirm the corrected price, or
Cancel for a full refund
11.5. Accepted Payment Methods
CarVerify accepts:
Online card payments
Bank transfers
Payment links
Cash
Buyers are responsible for any bank fees.
12. Failure to Pay
12.1. Suspension of Services
If payment is overdue, CarVerify may suspend all Services until payment is made.
12.2. Termination of Contract
If the Buyer does not pay within 1 day after a payment reminder, CarVerify may terminate immediately.
Any paid amounts will be retained.
13. Liability Disclaimer
13.1. No Reliance on Inspection
The report reflects the condition only at the inspection time and is not a guarantee of future performance.
13.2. Limitations of Inspection
Inspections are visual and non-invasive.
Hidden or intermittent issues may not be detected.
13.3. Third-Party Liability
CarVerify is not responsible for services provided by third-party companies.
13.4. Exclusion of Certain Damages
CarVerify is not liable for consequential or indirect losses.
13.5. Cap on Liability
Liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Buyer.
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1. Good Faith Negotiations
Parties agree to attempt informal resolution first.
14.2. Mediation and Arbitration
If unresolved, disputes go to mediation, then arbitration through DIAC, held in Dubai in English.
14.3. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sharjah and the UAE.
Unresolved matters fall under the Sharjah courts.
15. Personal Information and Privacy
15.1. Use of Personal Data
CarVerify processes data per its Privacy Policy available at: www.carverify.ae.
15.2. Data Security
CarVerify implements reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute protection.
16. Force Majeure
16.1. Definition
CarVerify is not liable for delays due to events beyond control (natural disasters, war, pandemics, etc.).
16.2. Notice
Affected parties must notify the other with details of the event.
16.3. Termination
Either party may terminate after 30 days of force majeure.
CarVerify will refund for unperformed Services minus reasonable expenses.
17. Miscellaneous Provisions
17.1. Assignment
CarVerify may transfer obligations to another entity.
The Buyer cannot assign rights without CarVerify’s written consent.
17.2. Severability
Invalid provisions do not affect the rest of the Terms.
17.3. No Waiver
Failure to enforce rights does not waive future enforcement.
17.4. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between CarVerify and the Buyer.
18. Payment Information
“All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented, or leased to any third parties.”
