Welcome to Carverify! These Terms of Service ("Terms") outline the conditions under which we provide our vehicle inspection services ("Services"). By engaging with Carverify, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you are under 18 years of age or do not agree to any of the terms below, you must not place an order.
1. Definitions
Buyer: The individual or entity requesting inspection services.
Seller: The person or entity offering the vehicle for sale and providing access for inspection.
Inspector: The certified professional assigned by Carverify to carry out the inspection.
Services: Vehicle inspection services provided by Carverify.
Order: A formal request by the Buyer for Carverify's Services.
Contract: A legally binding agreement between the Buyer and Carverify once the Order is confirmed.
2. Agreement Scope
2.1 An Order is accepted once Carverify confirms it in writing via email or digital means.
2.2 Carverify reserves the right to reject any Order at its discretion.
2.3 Each confirmed Order is issued a unique Order Number for reference.
3. Service Area
3.1 Carverify operates exclusively within the UAE. Orders may be placed from abroad, but inspections are conducted only in the UAE.
4. Services Offered
4.1 Carverify provides:
625-point inspections
Accident history reports
Mechanical diagnostics
AI-based repair cost estimates
4.2 Services apply to both private and public listings. Buyers must secure Seller consent for private sales.
4.3 Carverify does not verify legal ownership; this is the Buyer’s responsibility.
4.4 Any warranty or insurance products resold by Carverify are governed by the third-party provider’s terms.
5. Buyer Responsibilities
5.1 Buyers must provide accurate vehicle details, Seller contact, and inspection location. Inaccuracies may void the Order without refund.
5.2 To make changes to an Order, Buyers must contact Carverify immediately. Additional charges or rescheduling may apply.
5.3 The Buyer must ensure the vehicle is accessible and in inspectable condition.
6. Carverify's Right to Modify
6.1 We may update services due to legal, regulatory, or technical reasons. Minor service improvements may be made at any time.
6.2 Significant changes will be communicated to the Buyer, who may cancel under Section 8 if unsatisfied.
7. Service Delivery
7.1 Services begin on the date confirmed via email.
7.2 Delays due to weather, traffic, or other external issues will be communicated. Carverify may offer refunds or reschedules at its discretion.
7.3 If the Seller is unavailable, the Buyer can either:
Reschedule once for free
Request a 50% refund if unable to reschedule
8. Cancellations
8.1 Buyers may cancel up to 8 business hours before the appointment for a full refund.
8.2 Cancellations made within 8 business hours may not be refunded.
8.3 Carverify may cancel due to non-payment or Buyer interference; such cancellations are non-refundable.
9. Code of Conduct
9.1 Inspectors must be allowed to perform duties without interference.
9.2 Any abusive or inappropriate behavior will result in termination of the inspection with no refund.
10. Liability Limits
10.1 Reports are based on current, visible vehicle conditions and do not guarantee future performance.
10.2 We are not liable for third-party service issues.
10.3 Maximum liability is capped at the amount paid for the Service.
11. Payment Terms
11.1 Full payment is required before services commence.
11.2 Prices listed include VAT and are displayed on our website.
11.3 Changes in VAT will reflect in your final invoice.
11.4 Errors in pricing will be clarified before proceeding.
11.5 Accepted payment methods: Visa, MasterCard (AED or agreed currencies), and bank transfer. All bank charges must be borne by the Buyer.
12. Non-Payment
12.1 Services are suspended until payment is received.
12.2 Failure to pay within 24 hours of a reminder gives Carverify the right to cancel the Order without a refund.
13. Legal Disclaimers
13.1 Buyers should not solely rely on our reports when making purchase decisions.
13.2 Inspections are non-invasive unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
13.3 Carverify is not responsible for third-party warranty/insurance claims.
13.4 No liability is assumed for indirect damages.
13.5 Liability is limited to the total payment made by the Buyer.
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Both parties must first seek amicable resolution.
14.2 Unresolved issues will go to mediation and, if necessary, arbitration under DIAC rules.
14.3 The governing law is that of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
15. Privacy
15.1 Carverify handles data in line with our Privacy Policy.
15.2 While we secure all data, absolute internet security cannot be guaranteed.
16. Force Majeure
16.1 Neither party is liable for delays due to uncontrollable events (e.g. natural disasters, civil unrest).
16.2 Notification must be provided as soon as possible.
16.3 If delays exceed 30 days, either party may cancel with applicable refunds.
17. Miscellaneous
17.1 Carverify may assign its rights; Buyers may not without written consent.
17.2 Invalid clauses do not affect the remaining Terms.
17.3 Delays in enforcement do not waive rights.
17.4 These Terms are the complete agreement between both parties.
18. Trade Restrictions
18.1 Carverify does not offer services to countries sanctioned by OFAC, in accordance with UAE laws.
18.2 All transactions and disputes fall under UAE jurisdiction.
19. Refund Policy
Refund eligibility is based on cancellation timing and service status. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed via the original payment method.
20. Payment Policy
We accept Visa and MasterCard payments in AED or other agreed currencies. All accepted logos must be displayed on the homepage and checkout pages.
